The minivan station in Hua Hin is situated on Soi 51 which is very close to the center of Hua Hin providing cheap and frequent minivan transport to Bangkok, Cha-Am, Nakhon Pathom, and Kanchanaburi.
Tourists mostly use the service to Bangkok that stops at 3 different locations in the city. The three locations are Mo Chit Bus Terminal, Ekkamai Bus Terminal, and Bangkok Southern Bus Terminal.

Hua Hin Minivan Station has closed down permanently.

Minivan Departure Times, Booking, Costs, etc.
Services operate from 4.00am – 6.30pm hourly, every day. The Ekkamai bus I took to Bangkok left this station on the hour (11 am) and does every hour.
The times that vans leave and the frequency may vary to each of the destinations, but what I have stated above is a good basic guide for each service.
Costs: A single journey costs 180 THB. A further charge may be made for extra luggage and large bags or suitcases.
Booking: You don’t need to book a ticket in advance and can pay when you arrive at the station. If you miss a departure there is another leaving less than an hour later.
Safety: The safety of using minivans in Thailand is a concern. There are reported accidents involving minivans and deaths monthly. I have personally tried to stop using minivans, however, on this occasion while staying in Hua Hin I stayed on Soi 51 and used one for convenience.
The driver was relaxed and slow on route to Bangkok which was great, but once there was traffic as we got got closer he become more manic, changing lanes constantly and getting way too close to other cars. Next time I will stick with using the train, thank you very much.
Around Soi 51 (minivan station road)
The small area near the minivan station (Soi 51) has a few good hotel options, Thai restaurants and really nice coffee shops.
If you have time to wait for your minivan departure you can find food, coffee and snacks just outside the station, including an amazon coffee shop.
Getting there
The station is situated on Hua Hin Soi 51 (Dumrongrat Road) as mentioned, which is about 1.5km from the night market. You will most likely need to get a tuk tuk or taxi from your accommodation which will cost around 100 – 200 THB.
