Welcome – Sawasdee Khrap!
JonesyinThailand looks just like any other website/blog about travel you’ll find among many on the internet. There are some pretty good damn good travel blogs with bloggers hopping from one destination to another, sharing their wonderful experiences, including visiting Thailand.
However —
This site differs in terms of its created by myself and other writers, providing information about everything Thailand based on spending many years here. This includes learning the language (not perfect yet -and probably never will be), traveling to many destinations, understanding the culture, and basically being immersed in Thai society in more ways than one.
In other words, I am not just popping through here for a month with a backpack and sharing what I found on my travels. That is great; however, it soon becomes outdated and lacks depth.
Thailand is my second home, and even after first arriving here in 2008, I still discover new places and things about the country, culture, and people that keep it in adventure and learning mode.
